Alabama's abortion ban
Question from Anonymous on 5/16/2019:

Hello,

I am very thankful to God that abortion has been banned in Alabama.

What I noticed about the media coverage about this miraculous law is that it refers to the law as anti-woman, while failing to point out that the governor of Alabama, Kay Ivey, is herself a woman. In my opinion, that fact needs to be specifically mentioned in all coverage, and not just by referring to the governor using feminine pronouns.

Thank you,

Dear Anonymous

You are right, but let me make a couple of points about the Alabama law. As we all know no law is perfect, and this one allows abortion in the case of a threat to the mother's life, the case of fetal anomaly and for all abortions that occur because of contraceptive use or IVF babies killed in the lab. So it is not perfect.

The question of women is a red herring tossed around by the pro-aborts because they cannot deal with the words "baby" or "mother" and right now they are losing.

God is good.

Judie
