Dicastery for the Laity, the Family and Life

This dicastery combines the activities of the Pontifical Council for the Laity and the Pontifical Council for the Family y into a single dicastery, which has responsibility to foster the development of the life and apostolate of the lay faithful, the pastoral care of young people, the family and its mission according to God's plan, as well as the protection and support of human life.
