The flavors of Montreal come together beautifully in this dish inspired by local ingredients, including delectable Canadian Maple Syrup.

Serves: 2-4 People

Cook Time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

½ cup of Milk

2 Tbsp White Wine

2-3 Tbsp, Canadian Maple Syrup

¼ cup, Provolone Cheese

⅓ cup, Lacy Swiss Cheese

½ cup, White and Yellow Cheddar Cheese

Apples, cut into thin slices

Cheddar Cheese Cubes for dipping

½ cup of Baguette Bread, cut into ½ inch cubes

3-4 Asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces

How To Make:

  1. Heat milk and wine in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. When the milk begins to simmer, add the cheeses and continue to whisk until they are fully melted.
  3. Create a “fondue” apparatus that allows you to place a tea candle underneath a heat-resistant bowl.
  4. Prepare a serving platter or charcuterie board to display the ingredients you wish to dip into the cheese.
  5. Drizzle maple syrup into the melted cheese and mix before pouring it into the heat-resistant bowl.
  6. Place the bowl on top of the candle to keep the cheese warm and melty.
  7. Enjoy dipping your favorite fruits, vegetables, bread & more!
