Shrimp and Cheddar Pizza

Ingredients:
Fr. Paul Bread Mix Dough
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
6-10 uncooked and peeled, deveined shrimp
1 -2 teaspoons fresh herbs, minced (such as rosemary, thyme, parsley)
1 garlic clove, finely minced
¼ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 500°F. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a nonstick oven-safe pan. Spread or roll out dough in a circle, large enough to fit into the pan. When oil is hot, carefully place the dough in the pan. Distribute the cheese overthe entire surface of the dough. Add the shrimp over the cheese. Season with the oil, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the fresh herbs over the top of the pizza. After cooking on the stove top for about 1-2 minutes, place the entire pan into theoven. Cook in the oven for about 10 -12 minutes or until crust is golden brown, shrimp are cooked and cheese is melted and bubbly. Using hot pads, remove entire pan from oven. With an offset or fish spatula remove the pizza from the panand onto a clean surface area to cool and rest 2-3 minutes before cutting and serving.

 

Herbal Oil for Flat Bread 

Ingredients:
Fr. Paul’s Bread Mix Dough
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon rosemary, minced
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper

 

Directions:

 

In a bowl, combine olive oil, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper and stir together. Use a spoon to drizzle oil over anything, especially some fresh dough before putting it into the oven.
