1 Corinthians 15:12-20
12Now if Christ is preached as raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ has not been raised;
14if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.
15We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified of God that he raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised.
16For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised.
17If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and you are still in your sins.
18Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
19If for this life only we have hoped in Christ, we are of all men most to be pitied.
20But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

13for God is at work in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
14Do all things without grumbling or questioning,
15that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
16holding fast the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain.
17Even if I am to be poured as a libation upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.

12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14You are my friends if you do what I command you.
15No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.
16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.
17This I command you, to love one another.
