Hebrews 13:15-17, 20-21
15Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
16Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
17Obey your leaders and submit to them; for they are keeping watch over your souls, as men who will have to give account. Let them do this joyfully, and not sadly, for that would be of no advantage to you.
20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,
21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in you that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 23:1-6
1The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want;
2he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters;
3he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Gospel
Mark 6:30-34
30The apostles returned to Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught.
31And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a lonely place, and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.
32And they went away in the boat to a lonely place by themselves.
33Now many saw them going, and knew them, and they ran there on foot from all the towns, and got there ahead of them.
34As he landed he saw a great throng, and he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.

Hosea 2:16, 17, 21-22
16“And in that day, says the LORD, you will call me, ‘My husband,’ and no longer will you call me, ‘My Baʹal.’
17For I will remove the names of the Baʹals from her mouth, and they shall be mentioned by name no more.
21“And in that day, says the LORD, I will answer the heavens and they shall answer the earth;
22and the earth shall answer the grain, the wine, and the oil, and they shall answer Jezreel;
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 45:11-12, 14-17
10Hear, O daughter, consider, and incline your ear; forget your people and your father’s house;
11and the king will desire your beauty. Since he is your lord, bow to him;
13with all kinds of wealth. The princess is decked in her chamber with gold-woven robes;
14in many-colored robes she is led to the king, with her virgin companions, her escort, in her train.
15With joy and gladness they are led along as they enter the palace of the king.
16Instead of your fathers shall be your sons; you will make them princes in all the earth.
Gospel
Luke 10:38-42
38Now as they went on their way, he entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house.
39And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching.
40But Martha was distracted with much serving; and she went to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”
41But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things;
42one thing is needful. Mary has chosen the good portion, which shall not be taken away from her.”
