Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 19:2-5
1The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
2Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.
3There is no speech, nor are there words; their voice is not heard;
4yet their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,

Luke 17:26-37
26As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of man.
27They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28Likewise as it was in the days of Lot—they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built,
29but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and brimstone rained from heaven and destroyed them all—
30so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.
31On that day, let him who is on the housetop, with his goods in the house, not come down to take them away; and likewise let him who is in the field not turn back.
32Remember Lot’s wife.
33Whoever seeks to gain his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will preserve it.
34I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
35There will be two women grinding together; one will be taken and the other left.”
37And they said to him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

Ephesians 4:1-7, 11-13
1I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called,
2with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love,
3eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call,
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6one God and Father of us all, who is above all and through all and in all.
7But grace was given to each of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.
11And his gifts were that some should be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,
12for the equipment of the saints, for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,
13until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;
Responsorial Psalm
Psalms 1:1-4, 6
1Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3He is like a tree planted by streams of water, that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
4The wicked are not so, but are like chaff which the wind drives away.
6for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
Gospel
John 17:20-26
20“I do not pray for these only, but also for those who believe in me through their word,
21that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
23I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.
24Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy love for me before the foundation of the world.
25O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me.
26I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love with which thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”
