On Friday, 24 June, the Holy Father began his 14th Apostolic Journey, flying to “Zvartnots” International Airport in Yerevan, Armenia, the first country to adopt Christianity as a state religion. He follows in the footsteps of his predecessor, St. John Paul II, who came there in 2001.
