Cook Time: 30 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

4 Bratwurst Sausages, cut into 1/2 inch medallions

2 cups of Fingerling Potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch medallions

2 cups of cabbage, shredded

2 carrots, shredded

2 tsp olive oil

2 Tbsp mustard

2 Tbsp apple cider

2 Tbsp Riesling Wine

3-4 cups of oil for frying

2-3 scallions, minced

Salt and Pepper to taste

How To Make:

  1. Heat oil and fry potatoes, 3-5 minutes over medium heat, until golden brown.  When cooked, use a strainer to remove the potatoes and place on a paper towel lined plate.  Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat bratwurst sausages until golden brown, approximately 3 minutes on each side, and set aside.
  3. In a separate sauté pan, heat olive oil and add the cabbage and carrots.  Sauté for 3-5 minutes.  Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.  After the cabbage has softened, add the mustard, wine, and vinegar.  Sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Plate the dish by adding some potatoes, cabbage and sausage.  Garnish with scallions.
