Creamy Beans & Carrots

Description: Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on God’s many blessings.  Let’s gather around the table and cook some delicious recipes to compliment your family celebration!

Serving: 4-6 People                      

Cooking Time: 20 mins



½ Lb of Green Beans

1 Cup of Carrots, Cut Into Strips

1 Clove Garlic, Minced

1 Tsp Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Butter

1 Tsp Flour

2-3 Tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream

½ Tsp Salt

½ Tsp Pepper

½ Tsp Allspice Seasoning



  1. Heat ½ cup of water in a large saute pan until it boils. Add the beans, carrots, and garlic. Saute until the water evaporates.
  2. When the water is completely evaporated, add 1 tsp of olive oil. Mix together, until the beans and carrots begin to caramelize, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add butter and flour.  Allow the mixture to cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the heavy cream, salt, pepper, and allspice.  Allow the mixture to come to a light boil before serving.
