Filet Mignon, Stuffed Shrimp, & Linguine Pasta

Filet Mignon:
Serving: 2 People
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Ingredient:
2 Filet Mignon Steaks (4-6 Ounces)
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Pepper
2 Tsp Olive Oil
4-5 Sprigs Of Thyme
2 Tsp of Butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Heat Olive Oil over high heat.
- Season both sides of the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
- Sear for 2-3 minutes on one side. Then, flip over, add the thyme leaves on top, and place the pan in the oven for 6-8 minutes.
- Carefully, remove the pan from the oven. Add butter and baste the steaks for 1-2 minutes.
- Remove the steaks from the pan and allow the meat to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Stuffed Shrimp
Serving: 2 People
Cooking Time: 30 mins
Ingredients:
4-6 Shrimp
½ Cup of Crab Meat (Combination of Backfin and Lump)
2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Tsp Mustard
1 Tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1 Tbsp Panko Bread Crumbs
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay Seasoning, and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Add mixture to the crab meat, gently folding the ingredients together.
- Filet the shrimp and add the crab meat to the shrimp, (approximately the size of a ping-pong ball), so that the shrimp tail is propped up.
- Place stuffed shrimp on a baking pan and put in the oven for 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
Creamy Linguine Pasta
Serving: 2 People
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Ingredients:
½ Lb of Linguine or Fettuccine Pasta
½ White Onion, Diced
2 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
2 Tsp Butter
2 Tsp Flour
½ Cup of White Wine
½ Cup of Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tsp Salt
½ Tsp Black Pepper
2-3 Sprigs of Thyme
Directions:
- Boil water and cook pasta, according to the instructions.
- In a large pan, add the butter, onions, and garlic. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, until the onions become translucent.
- Add the flour, mix together, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the white wine, mix together, and cook for 3-5 minutes.
- Add the heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, and thyme leaves. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
- Add the pasta, along with 2-3 Tbsp of starchy pasta water. Mix together and serve.
