Fruit Carpaccio

A delicious side of fruit carpaccio.

Serves: 4-6 people as a side dish



1 Bunch           Red Grapes

1 Bunch           Green Grapes

6 Whole           Plums

2 Whole           Pears

1 Tbs               Olive oil

1 Dash            Salt

1 Dash            Pepper

1 Package       Fresh Dill

*If any fruits are unavailable, feel free to substitute with others.



  1. On a mandoline, thinly slice red grapes, green grapes, and plums 1/4 - 1/8 an inch thick. (When slicing the plums, slice from the sides leaving the core intact so you don’t slice into the pit.)
  2. Slice some pears into wedges.
  3. Assemble the carpaccio by laying out plum slices on a plate and putting slices of grape on top of them, putting the wedges of pear on the very top.
  4. For garnish, drizzle over the top with olive oil and add a dash of salt and pepper. Top all over with sprigs of fresh dill.
