Mike Learakos Katella Grill Inspired Pork Baby Back Ribs

2 lbs. pork ribs
1 cup barbecue sauce
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
1½ cups canola oil
1½ cups liquid smoke
¼ cup burgundy wine
¾ cup barbecue spices
1 teaspoon orange or lemon zest




Preheat oven to 425oF. Combine all the wet ingredients together in a large bowl and whisk together. Wash ribs and dry with a paper towel. Place ribs in oven safe pan. Brush both sides of the ribs with marinade. Place ribs bone side down on pan. Pour the rest of the sauce over the ribs and into the baking pan. Cover with aluminum foil and seal tightly. Put in the 425oF oven for 20 minutes. Reduce temperatures to 385oF for 1 hour. Remove from the oven and rest covered for 20 more minutes. Remove foil cover carefully.
